Our hospital features a dedicated surgical suite for use during surgery only. The suite contains two operating tables, overhead surgical lighting, equipment tables, as well as anesthesia and monitoring equipment.
These rooms are kept as clean as possible to minimize bacteria and other infectious organisms that would be capable of contaminating a surgical wound. Our surgical suite is designed with its own ventilation system separate from the rest of the hospital to maintain a sterile environment. Traffic within the surgical suite is kept to a minimum, and all persons entering must wear a cap and surgical mask to prevent spreading outside germs into the room.
