Dr. Jeanne Ficociello was born in raised north of Boston in Wilmington, MA. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Harvard University and attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated in 2006 and moved to Los Angeles, where she completed a one-year rotating internship at the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and then returned to Boston as a general practioner for one year. In 2008, she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado and completed a three-year residency in small animal Internal Medicine at Colorado State University. She also earned her Masters during that time period and studied infectious diseases, including Bartonella, the cause of cat scratch fever?. Dr. Ficociello is happy to be back in the Boston area and has many professional interests, including renal disease, gastrointestinal disease, liver disease and endocrinology. She also loves endoscopic procedures and laparoscopy. She lives on the south shore with her Labrador retriever, Fenny and her Chihuahua, Grandpa.
