Dr Kristel Horvath grew up Winnipeg Manitoba where she completed her BSc in Zoology. After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, she settled into Edmonton, Alberta.

Dr Horvath enjoys working with cats and dogs, and also has a special interest in all exotic creatures, including birds, reptiles, ferrets, hedgehogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, and more!

Her current household critter is a senior Puggle, but she has had a bearded dragon, parrot and degus in the past. In her spare time, Dr Horvath teaches fitness classes and spends time with her family.
