Dr. Antony Abo El Saad obtained his veterinary degree in 2006 and went on to complete a surgical internship in 2007. While in Egypt, he worked with some Canadian humane societies, and in 2011, completed a six-month externship at the Ontario Veterinary College. After moving to Alberta in 2013, he joined the Edmonton Humane Society where he performed hundreds of elective surgeries. He then went on to broaden his experience at an Edmonton emergency hospital. In 2015, he relocated to the United states to partake in a rotating internship, with emergency emphasis, at one of the largest Veterinary Specialist Centres on the East coast. In 2019, he settled back in Edmonton and joined the Emergency team at VCA Guardian Veterinary Centre, before bringing his experience and knowledge to VCA Canada North Central where he currently practices urgent care medicine. He is striving to complete the American Board of Veterinary Practitioner Degree, which will add a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his already proficient veterinary medicine. In his leisure time Dr. Anthony loves to spend his time reading, travelling, running, watching movies, and watching soccer.
