Dr. Finistere (Finn) Macfarland-Menjivar is originally from a small village in Southeast England. He moved to America for college, attending Sonoma State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology. Upon graduation, he worked as a veterinary technician for a year before attending veterinary school at UC Davis, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Dr. Macfarland-Menjivar has a special interest in emergency medicine as well as zoological medicine, which he may pursue in the future.  

When not at work, Dr. Macfarland-Menjivar enjoys reading, playing boardgames, playing piano, hiking and helping with wildlife and raptor rehabilitation. He and his wife, who he met at Sonoma State, have five cats, Arckey, Wraith, Kiba, Cin, and Cassius.
