Dr. Aimee Gallardo feels honored to contribute to the health and happiness of her patients. She enjoys all aspects of general practice – problem-solving, educating, and working with pet owners as a team to improve their pet’s health and well-being. Other professional interests include feline, emergency and internal medicine.
Dr. Gallardo is originally from Pleasant Hill, CA. She attended Harvard College, where she majored in Anthropology and Archaeology. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania (VMD 2008), and then completed a small animal rotating internship at the New England Animal Medical Center in Boston.
After working as a veterinarian in New Zealand for the past eight years, she has returned home to California. She is happy to be settling down in Placer County, where she has strong family ties. She joined our team at VCA Loomis Basin in February 2018.
Outside of work, Dr. Gallardo is an avid amateur flutist. She is looking forward to playing with community music groups in the area.
