Dr. Robert (Bob) Lambert grew up in the Bay Area of California. He attended UC Davis for for his Bachelor in Science in Veterinary Science and then remained on there to receive his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After graduation he went on for additional training as a surgical/emergency medicine intern at the California Animal Hospital In Los Angeles. After completing his internship, he worked in Santa Barbara, California where he met his future wife before returning to the Bay Area for Several years. In 2006, he returned to his family's roots in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Lambert feels passionate about end of life care for all senior pets, the human/animal bond, and maintaining a good quality of life for all of our pets.
In his personal life, you can find Dr. Lambert enjoying time with his wife and children around Portland and the surrounding areas. They are often hiking or playing with Buttercup (their gregarious yellow Lab) or enjoying board games at home with the family and Minty, the grumpy cat. He also enjoys training in martial arts, brewing beer/sake, golf, and exploring new restaurants.
