Dr. Rivaleau moved to the state of Oregon to practice medicine after receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. She is originally from North/South Carolina and received her bachelor's degree in science from Clemson University in South Carolina (Go Tigers) before attending veterinary school. Her first five years of practice were at a 24 hour emergency clinic which taught her dedication to patients during their highest time of need. This also expanded a love for emergency situational medicine, and strives to help our patients be as comfortable as possible during their visits using fear free behavior techniques. She enjoys working together with pet parents to form a bond as a part of their health care team toward a mutual goal of helping them live their best lives possible. She also has a special professional interest in pocket pet medicine, and hopes to continue to expand her abilities for even the smallest of loved companions.

Dr. Rivaleau lives in Portland with her feline friend Sabine, who joined her family after being hit by a vehicle and having a good Samaritan bring her in for veterinary care. She also has four pet rats named Donut, Crumb, Fry, and Bender. While not at the clinic, she enjoys peaceful day trips to the glorious Oregon Coast or taking hikes through our wooded forests. She also loves to spend time gardening and admiring her neighbor's front yards -especially when the Iris are blooming!
