Dr. Jessica Lukens was born and raised a South Floridian. She saw snow for the first time when she moved to Ohio to begin her veterinary education. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, emergency medicine and animal behavior.

Dr. Lukens is an advocate for Pit-Bulls and believes that they are a very loving and loyal breed. The beach has always been her serenity. She loves laying out, water sports, snowboarding, and any other outdoor activity. Her pets are her Rat Terrier, WhoDey, her Lab, TBDBILT, and her motley mix, Skyline. In her free time, you can always find Dr. Lukens somewhere soaking in the sun with her husband and human babies!
