For medical issues that require specialized attention we work closely with our specialty hospital, VCA South Shore. VCA's 24 hour facility is located just 20 minutes away in Weymouth and is open 7 days a week.

Dr. Thomas Finney has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to VCA Hanson, where he has been a key part of the clinical team since March of 1994. Dr. Finney is passionate about mentoring veterinary students and has a strong interest in small animal surgery. His broad experience extends to clinical medicine, including oncology, microbiology, and exotic animal care.

Becky joined the VCA Hanson team in January 2012, bringing with her over 30 years of veterinary experience. She has previously worked as a kennel assistant, technician, and co-manager, and has a background in both horse management and canine obedience. Currently she lives with a very active dog named Mario who is a Schnoodle (Giant Schnauzer Standard Poodle), and Banjo who is an Irish Jack Russell Terrier.
