Dr. Oscar earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lehigh University. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, and completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. She has been in clinical practice at VCA Hanson since March of 2004. Dr. Oscar's professional interests include wellness, preventative care, and ophthalmology of dogs, cats and small mammals. She performs soft tissue surgery and dentistry one day a week on canine and feline patients. She also has a special interest in Veterinary Behavior. She offers in-depth behavioral consults for dogs and cats on a case by case basis.

Dr. Oscar is a native of Pennsylvania and resides in Plymouth, MA, with her husband, Sean, and two daughters. She enjoys various outdoor activities, keeping in shape and dancing with her girls.
