Dr. Jacqueline Ortiz is originally from Memphis, TN. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, in 2007. She spent her sophomore year of college living in Florence, Italy, and moved to London, England, after graduation. Dr. Ortiz then decided to return to her roots for veterinary school graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She practiced companion animal medicine in Nashville, TN, before joining VCA Arbor Animal Hospital in fall 2016. She has served as medical director since 2018.

Nancee Swanson has been the Hospital Manager at VCA Arbor Animal Hospital since 1997. She has been active in the veterinary industry in the Austin area for over 35 years and is a member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. Nancee enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, creating fused and leaded glass art and spending time with her family. She lives with her husband and their Terrier Mix rescue, Gracie Mae.
