Dr. Elizabeth (Ellie) Wood was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She studied veterinary medicine at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science and graduated in 2019. For her undergraduate work, she earned a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University. Dr. Wood spent the last year working as a companion animal veterinarian in Houston. Her areas of interest include dermatology, neurology, and orthopedics. 

In her spare time, she spends time with her husband, Nathan, playing (and usually winning) different board games. She loves reading, traveling, and watching TV/movies with their two dogs, Boaz and Dirk.
