Team Spotlight
Dr. Ricardo Battistini received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University. He is also a USDA Accredited Veterinarian.
After practicing veterinary medicine in Florida and Mississippi, he moved to Texas and joined the Telge Road Animal Hospital Family in 2001.
Dr. Battistini is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. He is an active member of the local YMCA and has three small dogs, Patrick, Peanut, and Chewie.
After working in retail management for 15 years, Tammy decided enough is enough. She decided she wanted to work somewhere that she would enjoy going to work everyday. A friend that worked at a vet hospital suggested she try it. Well, 18 years later, she is still loving it! Tammy started at Telge Road as a Customer Service Representative and was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor a year later. After 4 years as the Customer Service Supervisor she was promoted to Hospital Manager. She has 3 dogs that she considers her family, and enjoys spending time in her back yard playing with them.
