Dr. Ricardo Battistini received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University.  He is also a USDA Accredited Veterinarian. 

After practicing veterinary medicine in Florida and Mississippi, he moved to Texas and joined the Telge Road Animal Hospital Family in 2001.  

Dr. Battistini is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.  He is an active member of the local YMCA and has three small dogs, Patrick, Peanut, and Chewie.
