Dr. Valerie Sinclair grew up in Eastern Washington, where her love of animals began early in life. Her childhood was spent caring for a variety of animals, from cats and dogs to sheep, poultry, and rabbits. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Washington State University in 2007 and has practiced in Colorado and Oregon before joining VCA Peone Pines Animal Hospital as medical director in December 2013.

Kristi started her career at VCA Peone Pines in 2006 as a Client Service Representative, and has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2008. She has gone on to become Fear Free Certified and strives to help patients enjoy their visits every time they come to the hospital. She loves coming to work everyday and interacting with a large variety of animals every day. She lives on a farm with 2 cats, 3 dogs, 2 horses, 9 cows, a turtle and an aquarium of fish. When she's not working, she enjoys paper crafting, cooking, enjoying nature and spending time with her family.
