Dr. Miriam Kan is a Kentucky native, but has called Northern Colorado home for nearly a decade. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in creative writing from the University of Montana and later earned a Master of Science in Toxicology as well as her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University.
Dr. Kan's clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, senior pet wellness care, and shelter medicine. She is passionate about early detection of chronic illness in geriatric patients and providing the best preventative medicine for our companion animals. She loves living in Northern Colorado and enjoys four seasons of outdoor activities with her husband, daughter, dogs, cats, horses, and blue and gold macaw.
Dr. Kan enjoys running with her dogs, Nash and Hayes, horseback riding, knitting, skiing, paddle boarding, reading historical fiction, and watching 18th century British dramas.
