Dr. Jones is originally from North Carolina. She graduated in 2015 from Virginia-Maryland CVM. She has worked in general practice since graduation, until making the switch to emergency medicine in 2024. Dr. Jones enjoys client education, as she feels every pet owner is best able to advocate and make decisions for their pet when they have the most information. She also enjoys wound management, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and seeing/learning new things everyday. This is what prompted her to switch to emergency medicine, being able to see a large variety of cases and help as many pets as possible. When she is not working, Dr. Jones loves spending time outdoors hiking, playing or watching sports with her husband, three children and three dogs.
