Dr. Leigh Ann DeGeorge grew up on Long Island and graduated from Long Island University in 2001. She the attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. While in Grenada, she adopted Scarlett a Grenadian Hound that was in desperate need of a home. In 2006, Dr. DeGeorge graduated from St. George's University. After returning from Grenada, she began working at Hauppauge Animal Hospital. She practices in General Medicine and performs surgeries every Monday. While working at HAH she came to adopt two "special needs" cats, her beloved one-eye cat Deanna and her no-eyed cat Geordi.
