Dr. Julie Pfeifer was born and raised in Michigan. For her undergraduate studies, she attended the University of Michigan, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. After working in the field of architecture, she decided to pursue veterinary medicine and attended the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, Julie completed a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania before returning to Michigan State University to complete a three-year residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care. After residency, Julie moved to Oahu to be near family. Julie's professional interests include toxicities and endocrine emergencies.
Julie enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family which includes her husband, Isaac; son, Sam; pug, Maxine; and spaniel mix, Rufus.
