Dr. Virginia Fritsch-Darrow grew up in northern California. She earned her B.A. at the University of San Diego, then completed her M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Riverside and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. After completing an internship with an emphasis in emergency medicine and critical care at PESC she joined that practice as an emergency clinician. She joined the California Veterinary Specialist family in 2017. Dr. Fritsch-Darrow enjoys running, biking, cooking, and baking. In her free time she camps, hikes and backpacks with her couch-loving greyhound named Sterling.
