Dr. Helfrich received his DVM degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. He completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers, Indiana in 2013.
He worked as a general practice veterinarian for four years and as an emergency and critical care veterinarian for two years. He completed a residency in veterinary diagnostic imaging at Washington State University in 2022, and is a board certified veterinary radiologist.
Dr. Helfrich joined our hospital in 2022 and stands ready to utilize all facets of diagnostic imaging in order to help pets and the families that love them. He and his wife, Briah, also a veterinarian, have two children named Brexton and Sloane, an adorable orange and white cat named Kingston, and a mischievous dog named Sparrow
