Hospital Manager Ashley Rakes began working at White Oak Animal Hospital in 1998, and has been in the animal-care field for 28 years. She's previously worked as a kennel assistant, a veterinary assistant, a technician and a receptionist. Ashley's job responsibilities include human resources, scheduling, conducting staff meetings, ordering inventory, handling IT issues and more. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with the staff and clients.

"I love our staff. They are like my family," she says. "I enjoy meeting our clients and helping them have a great experience at White Oak Animal Hospital."

Ashley has a Terrier mix named Dobby, a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix named Ali, a English Bulldog named Hulk, and a cat named Moonie. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, watching movies, dining out and spending time with her family.
