Dr. Joseph Masciana is originally from Long Island, New York. He went to veterinary school on the beautiful island of Grenada in the Carribean at St. George's University. Dr. Masciana then continued to North Carolina State University where he finished his fourth year rotations. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at VSH of the Carolinas in Raleigh, North Carolina and subsequently stayed working as an Emergency Veterinarian prior to starting his Emergency and Critical Care Residency at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.
When not in the hospital, Dr. Masciana loves to explore Los Angeles with his two dogs that he rescued from Grenada and North Carolina, swim, hike, and binge watch Netflix.
