Dr. Walton earned her degree from the Western University of Health Sciences before expanding her expertise with a rotating internship at the University of Minnesota. She then completed her Emergency and Critical Care Residency at North Carolina State University. With specialized emergency and critical care training, Dr. Walton is proud to hold a Hemodialysis Certification. She is passionate about mechanical ventilation, respiratory emergencies, therapeutic apheresis, and endocrine emergencies.
Every day at work is unique for Dr. Walton. What she values most about her profession is the opportunity to collaborate with outstanding colleagues and care for the pets they encounter.
At home, Dr. Walton enjoys the company of her two cherished cats, Algernon and Dr. Alan Grant. Beyond her dedication to veterinary care, she is an avid hiker, cyclist, and baker, finding balance and joy in these pursuits.
