Hi, my name is Allison Palmer. I was born here in Oklahoma, and I grew up in the country on 5 acres of land. Growing up my parents always made it a point to rescue every stray cat and dog they found. My mom would even rescue baby birds and rehabilitate them. They had love and compassion for all animals, and they passed that love and compassion on to me. From the time I was 6 years old, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. There was just nothing I could see myself doing. Once I grew up though, I realized that I wanted to be a specific type of vet, because although I love all animals, my true passion is in marine mammals. So I hope to one day move somewhere with an ocean and get my degree so I can be a marine mammal vet.

I have 4 animals right now. My 10 year old cat, Maddie, that I got when I was 13; my dog, Riley, that I rescued when I was 16; and I have a new kitten named Nyx, and also a rat named Dax.

Working in this clinic has been such a wonderful experience. I learn something new every day. This clinic literally has the best group of people working here. Everyone is so passionate about what they do - and they all love every second of it. If you come to our clinic...you will probably never want to go anywhere else.
