Dr. Jeremy Trousdale completed his undergraduate Biology degree in 1998 at Adams State College in Colorado. He furthered his studies and improved his bid for veterinary school by completing a Master's Degree in Anatomy at Colorado State University, planting the seeds for his interest in surgery. Dr. Trousdale earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2007, for which the clinical year of training returned him to Colorado State University.
After receiving his DVM, he completed a Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in Phoenix, where his draw toward surgical specialization was cemented. He completed a Surgical Internship with Aspen Meadows Veterinary Specialists in Colorado, then completed a dynamic three-year Surgical Residency with VCA All Care Animal Referral Center in Fountain Valley, California.
Dr. Trousdale joined the VCA Valley team in 2012, bringing surgery service to the hospital. As a surgeon, Dr. Trousdale has many interests in soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, but takes special interest in certain neurologic cases and developmental orthopedic diseases. Minimally invasive knee and elbow surgery, as well as endoscopy, are some other procedures he enjoys to provide. Because Valley is blessed with having a surgery service Dr. Trousdale can take direct referrals from primary care practitioners, take direct consultations from clients but also support our team of ER doctors with surgical needs when he is in Coachella Valley.
