Dr. Bobbi Hafer grew up on ranches in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. She received her Bachelor's in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Kansas State University. Dr. Hafer knew at the young age of five that she wanted to "fix animals" and she has been living her dream ever since. Upon graduation, she completed a one year rotating internship at Denver's Alameda East Veterinary Hospital and was on the TV show Emergency Vets. The Colorado front range has been her home for the last 15 years where she has continued to practice. She joined VCA Stapleton's team in April 2020. Dr. Hafer treats dogs and cats as well as non-traditional pets. Dr. Hafer takes pride in caring for all her patients as if they were her own pets. She has two Jack Russel Terriers (Wrigley & Ruby), a Blue Crown Conure (K.T.) and a Crested Gecko (Mango). She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing volleyball, hiking and camping. Bobbi and her husband, Justin, enjoy watching their children at swim meets and lacrosse matches throughout the year.
