Dr. Edris Grate is a native of Baltimore, MD, where he gained an interest for veterinary medicine through television and visiting the zoos and Smithsonian locations. He eventually graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2017 where he studied Animal Science. From there he pursued his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University, where he graduated in 2021. His professional interests are internal medicine, client relationships, soft tissue surgery, and alternative medicine practices.
While not a work, Dr. Grate loves to spend time with his future wife and furry son, Heru. He also enjoys time with friends, trying new foods and wines, and also loves being outdoors. When he can, he takes trips to his home or invites family up to spend time together. Human connections are vital to our survival and Dr. Grate tries to reinforce those bonds and connections.
