Dr. Russo grew up in western Maryland and currently resides in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. She received a BS in biology from Virginia Tech in 2008 then obtained her DVM at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 after completing her clinical year at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. She met her husband, Dr. Kevin Moon in veterinary school. Together, they adopted two "Coconut Retrievers", Mowgli and Leopard, and a stray kitten named Jules from the island of St. Kitts. They also recently brought home a sweet kitten named Eddie who keeps them on their toes. Dr. Russo's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, behavior, and fear free exams. Dr. Russo plays violin in her church orchestra, enjoys taking her dogs on walks along the Susquehanna River, and has an impressive collection of board games she plays with her husband.
