I started working for VCA Simmons Animal Hospital in October of 2017. Previously in practice and co-owner of Bond Animal Hospital in White Plains, NY, I have been warmly welcomed to the team here at Simmons and am thankful to have joined such a dedicated and talented group of doctors, assistants and support staff. Living in Connecticut prior to college, I had a strong interest in riding horses and show jumping which led me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. My education was spent at Duke University for undergraduate studies and later Cornell University for my veterinary education. After an internship in North Carolina, I joined the New England Equine Practice in Connecticut but soon realized that I also had a passion for small animal companion medicine. I joined Bond Animal Hospital in 1986 and practiced there until joining the team here at Simmons in 2017. As a "seasoned" veterinarian, I still find veterinary medicine challenging and rewarding and enjoy coming to work every day.
