Dr. Pauline Pau was born and raised in Southern California. As an avid animal lover, Dr. Pau had a number of pets growing up which include birds, hamsters, turtles, fish, geese, chickens, and a Pomeranian named Rocky. Dr. Pau was especially bonded to her dog and realized the importance veterinary medicine had in preserving that relationship when Rocky was saved multiple times from heart failure. As a veterinarian, Dr. Pau hopes to preserve the human-animal bond between owners and their beloved pets as well. 

Dr. Pau completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Irvine. Before veterinary school, Dr. Pau worked at a small animal hospital in Monterey Park for two years. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University and completed a Graduate Business Minor in Health Sciences. Dr. Pau is an advocate for low stress animal handling and is a Fear Free certified professional. She is also fluent in Cantonese. 

Outside of the veterinary clinic, Dr. Pau enjoys outdoor activities, trying new restaurants, and lazing around with her dogs which now include “Momo” the Pomeranian, “Moonshine” the Scottish Terrier, and “Beau” the Poodle.
