Dr. Jeffrey Najarian joined VCA Santa Anita in February 2008. He is a native of Southern California. He grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. He completed his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of California at Davis. He later went on to complete graduate studies at UC Davis, earning a Master of Science in Animal Science. Dr. Najarian's academic career reached it's pinnacle after he fulfilled a lifelong dream and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation he continued his training as an intern at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group; a multi-specialty referral practice in Ventura, CA. He then pursued an interest in veterinary surgery and completed a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX before joining our team at VCA Santa Anita. When not at work Dr. Najarian can be found enjoying the outdoors with his pug "Otis", his Scottish Terrier "Rocket" and his Shar Pei cross "Pua". Dr. Najarian speaks fluent Armenian.
