We are pleased to announce that our home hospital in South Salem (4053 Commercial Street SE) will be reopening for General Practice starting Monday, September 9. Our Primary Care team (General Practice only) is back and excited to see your pet for wellness, ongoing case management and minor illnesses. In the event that some diagnostics, including radiographs are needed, we may refer you to our River Road clinic in Keizer. Our hours at 4053 Commercial Street have been altered and we will be seeing patients for scheduled appointments Monday through Friday 8 am - 6 pm. We will be available on Saturdays for prescription or food pick up and phone calls, but will not have a veterinarian on the premises; Urgent Care services are still available at our River Road location (4975 River Road North in Keizer) on Saturdays 8 am - 6pm. The Urgent Care/Emergency and Surgery teams will continue to operate out of VCA River Road. Once the treatment and surgical spaces are completed at our South Salem location later this year, those teams will join the Primary Care division. We welcome you back to our hospital and look forward to seeing your pets in one of our renewed exam rooms. Please be aware there is ongoing work occurring in other areas of the hospital and occasional associated noise may be noticed at times.

Our hospital offers a number of diagnostic imaging services. Diagnostic imaging refers to the techniques and processes used to create images of your pet's body or body parts for medical purposes. These images allow your veterinarian to diagnose or re-examine a disease condition or determine if your pet's systems are normal.
There are many forms of diagnostic imaging, including radiographs (x-rays), ultrasound, CT scans and MRI. Some form of diagnostic imaging is usually required in a medical work-up or as part of a general wellness examination.
Ask our staff or veterinarians what types of diagnostic imaging we can provide for your pet.
