Stephanie has lived in Northern Idaho for most of her life and has been a licensed technician for the last 18+ years. She has been working at VCA Ponti Animal Hospital for the last 5 years. Within that time, she has worked with small animal, large animal, farm animals, exotics and emergency care. Her greatest contribution to the veterinary field is being able to pass along all of her knowledge to future technicians and veterinarians. The cutest animals she has worked with were baby otters that the clinic saw last year; however, the most interesting point in her veterinary career would have been drawing blood on an un-sedated bobcat! She lives with her husband, Harper, the Border collie, Archer, the German shepherd, and Chunk, the cat. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, baking and creating art.
