VCA Ponti Animal Hospital was established in 1977 in Otis Orchards, Washington for the treatment and care of a diverse population of animals and wildlife in the greater Spokane and Idaho Panhandle areas.
In 1999, Ponti Animal Clinic became Ponti Veterinary Hospital and added a modern 6000+ square feet facility for small animal, exotic pet and wildlife to better meet the needs of our growing number of clients. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local referral practices when specialized diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise areas.
Our facility has a spacious reception/discharge area, four comfortable examination rooms, a large well equipped diagnostic and technical procedure area, a modern surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, ICU/recovery area, X-ray room, and isolation ward. Our boarding facility has 16 kennels for hospital support and general boarding, 2 wards for smaller pets and a wildlife support area.
