Dr. Talia Coppens grew up in Westchester and is excited to be back in the area as a part of this amazing team! She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian—an ambition fueled by many trips to the Bronx Zoo and the love of her childhood pets. Dr. Coppens is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her clients and their pets, and she believes in the importance of providing high-quality, compassionate medical care.

Dr. Coppens received her BS in Biological Sciences and DVM degrees from Cornell University. Her professional interests include internal medicine, neurology, and general surgery. She also has a special interest in veterinary business and entrepreneurship. She has completed special training to become a USDA accredited veterinarian.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Coppens loves traveling and exploring the outdoors with her partner, Jeremy, and their rambunctious terrier mix, Rosie. She also enjoys watching TV (she's a huge fan of The Office!) and mixed martial arts.
