Dr. Jon Olsen, our medical director, has been a proud part of the Mt. Kisco Veterinary Clinic team since 2009.  He received his veterinary and undergraduate degrees from Cornell University, and completed a year-long medical and surgical internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. His professional interests include gastroenterology, radiology/ultrasound, and dentistry, as well as mentoring newer veterinarians and technicians. Dr. Olsen enjoys attending regional and national conferences to keep abreast of new developments in the veterinary field. He is also a USDA-accredited veterinarian, which allows him to certify cats and dogs for international travel. Currently, he lives in Thornwood with his wife and two daughters, and has a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Thumper, who would prefer Dr. Olsen quit his job and stay home to rub his belly all day. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, whiskey tasting, watching the Yankees, and creating and solving crossword puzzles.
