Dr. Pedersen, is a graduate of the University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine and a Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapist and Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist, as well as a certified rehabilitation veterinarian.

Hailing from Yorkshire, England Dr. Pedersen grew up among equine athletes, actively competing in eventing, show jumping and dressage.

Upon completion of her Master of Chemistry degree through the University of Hull, Dr Pedersen moved to Canada, where she was accepted into the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at UCVM. She completed her Performance Horse Health Fellowship with the TD Equine Veterinary Group in Calgary and her Masters of Science through the University of Calgary

Dr. Pedersen is passionate about helping companion animals, whether athletes or pets maintain function and mobility for optimal performance and health. This may be recovery after a surgical procedure, or accident, or simply improving mobility in our older animals. Her strong interest in Integrative Medicine and knowledge of biomechanical movement target her treatment to maximize the quality of life for the animals she treats.

Dr. Pedersen is a fear free certified practitioner, and practices with these principles at all times.
