Dr. Ashley grew up in Cochrane, AB and loved animals from a young age. Growing up one of her favourite things to do was visit one of her friend’s with an acreage full of horses, dogs and cats. Dr. Ashley did her undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary prior to attending the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and graduating in 2009. After graduation she practiced in Regina, SK for a year before deciding to come back home to Calgary.  She has been working at Marda Loop Animal Hospital since 2010. She and her husband have a beautiful baby girl as well as 2 feisty cats at home. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing sports, hiking and water skiing.
