OUR HISTORY OF PET CARE IN LOOMIS, CA
For 40 years, since our humble beginnings in an old 600 square foot house on Taylor Road in downtown Loomis, we have been honored to serve the people and pets of the Loomis Basin and surrounding communities. In the beginning, we made a commitment to provide the best medicine and surgery possible to all species, 24 hours a day.
What began as a mixed animal practice in 1975 transitioned into two separate veterinary hospitals in 1991. Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic became Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic Small Animals & Exotics and Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic Large Animals. In 2004, the Large Animal practice became Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center, and remained on the same site as the Small Animal practice until 2013 when it relocated to a new site in Penryn.
Our founding commitment to provide the best medicine and surgery possible, 24 hours a day, still stands today, and we continue to invest in our practice.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
