Dr. Kara Holland had moved eight times throughout her childhood before moving to Edmond in eighth grade. She graduated high school from Edmond North and continued her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Oklahoma State University. Three years later she was accepted into the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2018. After earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, she joined the VCA team. Dr. Holland became the Medical Director at VCA Kickingbird in 2023.
Dr. Holland has a passion for providing high-quality care for small animals throughout their entire life. "I am dedicated to providing pets with the highest quality of care possible, while also developing relationships with the owners that love and care for them." She also has a special interest in internal medicine and has post graduate training in ultrasound.
She met her husband, Matthew, her freshman year of high school. They have two beautiful children and two furry kids that keep them on their toes daily. In her free time, Dr. Holland loves to spend time with her family, travel, and run.
