Cara is a vet assistant who comes with a multitude of experience from general practice and ER to urgent care and ICU. She has been in the field for almost a decade (9 years)! Outside of work, Cara enjoys spending time with her pups, exploring nature, tending to her plants and aquarium as well as listening to music and a variety of podcasts. She lives with her little brother, who happens to also be her best friend and has a boxer (Toby) and pug (Lemon). Accompanying them also includes two fish, an axolotl named Sushi, and a blue tongued skink named Puff. Cara chose this field because "animals have always been a huge sense of comfort my whole life and I want to pay them back." She emphasizes that although animals do not have a voice, they say so much to those who take time to listen. Cara enjoys being an advocate and a voice for the animals through her work.
