Dr. Wyss was born and raised in Long Island, New York, before moving with her family to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1992. She pursued her undergraduate education at North Carolina State University, earning a bachelor's degree in Zoology.
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Wyss served as a Communications Officer in the United States Air Force from 1998 to 2002. Driven by her passion for animals, she then attended the Veterinary College at Massey University in New Zealand, graduating in 2006.
Upon completing her veterinary education, Dr. Wyss returned to Charlotte to practice veterinary medicine. Dr. Wyss is an advocate for feral felines. She works hard in the community to educate, trap and release feral felines to help with the over population.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her husband, their dog, and their cats.
