Our Story

At VCA Howell Branch Animal Hospital, we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives. We work hard to deliver the best medical care for your pets, as well as the best experience for you, the pet owner.

Located in Winter Park and serving the surrounding communities, our veterinarians, technicians and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medicines ensures that our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care.

Hometown Care at VCA Howell Branch Animal Hospital

At VCA Howell Branch Animal Hospital, "your pet's health is our top priority, and excellent service is our goal." This care begins with a physical examination of your pet twice yearly from head to tail, inside and out. Our veterinarians, vet technicians and receptionists are trained to help educate you on the importance of preventative care for your pets. Not only will this entail vaccinations, but your veterinarian may suggest blood work, urinalysis and parasite testing. All of these will help your pets to live a longer and and healthier life.

We are also fortunate enough to be near all the Orlando attractions, so while you go play at Mickey Mouse's house, your pets can come play with us at our boarding facility.

 

Local Medical Issues

Internal and external parasites are a year-round problem here in Florida for our pets. They can cause skin problems, as well as intestinal and heart problems. It is important for your pet to be on a preventative for these at all times.

As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
