Our hospital is located in North Highlands, California near the intersection of Watt Ave and Elkhorn Blvd. Because we have been in operation for over 40 years, we feel a part of this community and enjoy serving the residents of this area. At VCA Highlands Animal Hospital we offer general medicine and boarding.

Team Spotlight
After graduating from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine I completed a one-year small animal internship in Massachusetts before returning to the Sacramento area to practice small animal clinical medicine. In 1994, I joined Highlands Animal Hospital and have been there ever since. Outside of work, I can be found tinkering, exploring, hiking, camping, or just enjoying the outdoors with my family.
