Dr. Cortright is originally from New Jersey where she grew up on her family's dairy farm.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Rutgers University, New Brunswick.  After graduating from Rutgers, Dr. Cortright attended St. George's University for her veterinary academic training and completed her clinical training at Cornell University.   Dr. Cortright is a member of Phi Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society, and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  
 
Dr. Cortright is honored to join the VCA family because of the high quality, patient-centered care that is provided on a daily basis by the dedicated and compassionate team.
 
Dr. Cortright has a special interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, geriatric care and integrative medicine.  She strives to preserve the human-animal bond and provide high quality veterinary medicine to everyone.
