Dr. Marissa Strianese was born and raised on Long Island. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University. Dr. Strianese joined VCA Commack Animal Hospital in May 2023. She finds it rewarding to be able to help animals in their time of need by providing them with a high level of care. She enjoys educating pet owners on how to keep their pets happy and healthy by strengthening the bond between pets and their pet parents.

During her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, her little Chihuahua Olive and her cat Tony.

Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology and fostering human-animal bonds.
