We offer:
Fear Free Certified Practice
We understand how stressful it can be for our pets to come to see the veterinarian, and our feline patients can be especially challenging. Just getting out the cat carrier can send your kitty running for the hills. This is why the doctors and staff at VCA City Pet Animal Hospital are working hard to provide a low-stress environment for our feline patients. With the help of the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners), our hospital has become a certified Cat Friendly Practice. Our staff and doctors have the knowledge, training in feline friendly handling techniques, equipment, and the environment to make your visit as low stress as possible for you and your cat.
We have feline only designated areas (waiting area, exam room, and a feline only ward) where your cat will have a quiet environment during their stay with us.
The AAFP has also provided educational videos with useful tips on how to get your cat to the vet, the importance of regular veterinary check-ups, and how a cat-friendly practice can help you and your cat.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
