Trinity Wayne joined the VCA Care Specialty and Emergency Animal Hospital in 2015. Throughout her career she has worked exclusively as an emergency veterinarian most recently in Las Vegas, Nevada. She completed a one year rotating internship, with an emphasis on emergency medicine, at SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Center in Fairfax, Virginia in 2008. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Medicine tract from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2003 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2007. Her professional interests include toxicities, anaphylaxis, transfusion medicine, and laceration repairs.

Dr. Wayne enjoys exploring tide pools and watching the sunset with her family. She is also a dedicated ashtanga yoga practitioner and voracious bookworm. Dr. Wayne grew up down the street from the beach in Hawaii and is looking forward to raising her son near the Pacific here in Santa Barbara.
